Dear Family and friends – The Monday after the weekend before…

Today on Easter Monday – 105 years ago – seven men stood up in Dublin for what they believed in and proclaimed the Irish Republic. Their bravery sparked off the Easter Rising, which eventually brought the Irish people freedom from British oppression. They paid with their lives for it.
I can’t help but wonder whether their confidence had anything to do with a Jew who way back; stood up before Roman rulership in Jerusalem for what He believed in and proclaimed the Kingdom of God. Jesus’ sentenced to the cross, changed eternity forever, and brought victory over sin and death, to all nations of the world.
Worldly conversations will probably prey on our mindset continuously, to captivate us in uncertainty, fear, isolation, and despair.
But it’s Monday and it comes with the privilege of choice.
We can choose to be captivated by Christ rather than circumstances. Paul understood the contentment flowing from being captivated by Jesus and living in the power of His resurrection.
“I can do all things (which He has called me to do) through Him who strengthens and empowers me (to fulfill His purpose). I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency; I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him who infuses me with inner strength and confident peace.)” Philippians 4:13 AMP
It’s Monday – what are we going to stand up for?
Thank you so much for supporting us faithfully in your prayers, faith, and partnership.
We are grateful for everyone that God has placed in our lives to be part of what He has called us to do.
